Robert qualified as Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors whilst at Matthews & Goodman, before moving to Whitbread as Strategic Development Manager of Whitbread hotels including both Marriott and Travel Inn (now Premier Inn). In 2004 he joined Travelodge following their acquisition by Permira Private Equity and during his 12 years he developed and implemented a growth strategy for London taking the hotel group from 11 hotels to over 70 by the time he left.

Priya has been with OakNorth since the beginning of its journey, joining in April 2015 – just a month after the company received its provisional license, and several months before the launch. Since then, she has completed several hundred million pounds worth of loans on behalf of OakNorth, supporting businesses across all real estate sectors in a variety of regions in the UK. Prior to joining OakNorth, Priya spent almost six years with Santander, managing a portfolio of c150 customers.

Matt is a Senior Strategist within LGIM’s Real Assets Research and Strategy team. Matt is responsible for market research, influencing strategic operational initiatives and guiding investment strategy in the retail, leisure and hotel sectors, whilst also being responsible for research into key thematic areas, including transition risk, operational research and emerging Alternatives sectors. LGIM Real Assets manages one of the largest specialist Leisure property funds in the UK.

Patrick joined as a Partner of AlphaReal in 2015. He is Head of the Long Income team and leads the AlphaReal origination team. His primary focus is growing the business’s institutional commercial ground rents and other long income strategies in the UK and Europe. 

Patrick has over 20 years’ experience in the property market, the majority of which has been spent in alternative asset sectors (hotels, healthcare and leisure). Prior to AlphaReal, he was at CBRE, Gerald Eve, Christie & Co and St Martins Property Corporation. 

Tom Holt-Wilson is a Senior Director at CBRE and Head of Hotel Valuation. He was appointed in April 2023 and is based at Henrietta House in London.

Tom has been valuing hotels since he first joined CBRE in 2006 and he is currently responsible for overseeing the work of the UK hotel valuation team. This team predominantly works on large single assets and portfolios across London and regional UK locations. Tom and the UK team also play an important role working with out European counterparts providing a joined up approach for our clients across the region.
