Event Speaker Jim Orr

Jim fulfills hundreds of external and internal requests for images from the museum and archives collections every year – often on short notice. He works on every step of the process, from cataloging and imaging to delivery and permissions. He has been with The Henry Ford for more than two decades, and he still remembers when image files had to be mailed on discs.

Event Speaker Jillian Ferraiuolo

Jillian works in tandem with a variety of teams across the institution to organize and facilitate digitization of three-dimensional and oversized two-dimensional artifacts, ranging in size and complexity from political buttons to planes, trains, and automobiles.

Since 2013, she has worked with the institutional photographer, populated multimedia metadata and files into our collections database and preservation server, and project managed The Henry Ford’s photography efforts. She is also point person for our 360-degree imaging program.

Event Speaker Ellice Engdahl

Ellice manages ongoing collections digitization work and facilitates the development of ways to showcase and connect digitized collections content in order to tell stories on the web as leader of the institution’s Content Studio.

Ellice has worked on planning, creation, project management, and publishing of data, multimedia, and narrative content for more than two decades, both in the non-profit and for-profit sectors, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Event Speaker Derek Torrey

As an Executive IT leader, Derek has finely developed skills for deciphering strategic business requirements and communicating the real business value of complex technical solutions.

He has 20+ years of experience leading technical teams and delivering a diverse range of digital transformation, marketing technology, and enterprise content management solutions for the Retail, CPG, and Manufacturing markets.

Event Speaker Bilal Elreda

Bilal Elreda is a SVP, Technology Director at Deutsch LA where he leads teams through the technical discovery, design, and delivery phases of digital platforms for the agency’s roster of clients. He brings over 12 years of experience in the digital space, working on all facets of the software design and delivery process. Prior to joining Deutsch LA, Elreda was a Solutions Architect at Dustland, a digital design and development agency where he was responsible for creating technical solutions for brands including Subaru, Ford, and Visa.
