Session 1: DAM in 2023: The Technology and The Practice

David Pritchard has worked within the creative production space for over 20 years. During his career he has partnered with a number of renowned agencies and global brands across a diverse range of market verticals, to deliver offshore programmes that not only accelerate growth but drive profits. In an ever-changing marketplace, he has worked with business leaders to implement frameworks that not only meet the needs of today but look at the needs of tomorrow and beyond.

Connecting DAM to the Enterprise: Integrating the Technology Across Your MarTech stack

Tuesday 27 June, 14:00 – 17:00

DAM is no longer a silo: it’s part of a broader content or marketing hub of varied applications. This session is for those who want to take their knowledge of DAM to a more expert level. We’ll focus on the role that DAM plays in the broader marketing technology ecosystem, going into the features and functions of the more complex “enterprise” grade DAM systems, and how they differ.

Fundamentals of DAM: An Introduction to the Technology and Practice

Tuesday 27 June, 9:30 - 12:30

Are you new to DAM, or do you need a refresher course that re-visits the fundamentals? Looking to better educate your team about DAM, with clear and jargon-free language? This half-day session takes apart the nuts and bolts of DAM as both a practice and a technology, so you can better understand what DAM is and how it really works.

With a background in photography and film, Kristin soon learned that an organized person would thrive within a creative environment if they could structure the processes, assets and teams – allowing for room to actually create. She has worked for Fortune 100 companies and start-ups and everywhere in between, from the worlds of publishing, media, technology, and business.

Kristin launched Spark Focus LLC in 2023 to help clients from Morgan Stanley to Adobe and other digital content clients get the most out of their tools and break down silos between teams along the way.

Design researcher and information architect Daniel Souza has held lead designer and design director positions with companies such as PublicisSapient, Isobar, and Babylon Health.
