Jaime is the director of the Arthur Vining Davis Library & Archives at Mote Marine Laboratory. She has a master’s degree in Library Science, a graduate certificate in Museum Studies and more than 10 years’ experience working with special collections. In addition to responding to research inquiries and processing & digitizing collections, Jaime is working to make Mote's archival collections more accessible through the launch of a new digital asset management system.

Alexis joined Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium as a graphic designer for the Community Relation & Communications (CRC) department in May 2014. In 2019, she was promoted to Manager of Visual Engagement. In addition to handling the execution of the organization's in-house creative assets, Alexis is also responsible for managing the visual presentation of Mote's brand to a number of different audiences. She implemented and manages the CRC department's current DAM system, which will hopefully be transitioned to Mote's new organization-wide DAM system by the end of 2021.
