- DAM isn't just a technology implementation: treat it as an operating model and use it in business transformation - what that means for ownership and leadership.
- Building the connected content ecosystem: how DAM fits into the broader content supply chain across planning, creative operations, studio/production, workflow, CMS and downstream channels.
- Creating belief in the future state: getting people to see and buy into what's possible before you've built it. At both the leadership and operational levels, we've had to continually paint the picture, tell the story and almost "campaign" for the future state to bring people along. We may know why the DAM needs to change, but that doesn't automatically mean the rest of the organization understands the vision or is ready to change with it.
- Transforming while the business keeps moving: the realities of modernizing platforms and processes while continuing to support high-volume, multi-brand content production, including lessons learned, course corrections and what we'd do differently.
- Governance, ownership and the people side of DAM: establishing decision rights and accountability, navigating the partnership between the business, Product and Technology, and creating governance that enables the work rather than slows it down.
- Preparing for an AI-driven content future: how AI, synthetic content and increasing content volume are changing the requirements for metadata and governance. The role DAM plays as the content foundation.
