Events Creative Operations Australia 2026 One Playbook, Many Partners: Making Generative AI Work Across the Agency Village

As generative AI becomes part of everyday creative production, brands are increasingly working across agencies and partners with different tools, guidelines and approaches. The result can be fragmented processes, inconsistent standards and unnecessary friction.

In this session, Gemma and Vinne will explore how brands can create a shared generative AI playbook across the agency village. They will cover principles, transparency, approvals, intellectual property, data and practical ways of working.

Gemma will share learnings from the guidelines Open Universities Australia has already developed: what prompted them, how they were created, what has worked in practice and what she would approach differently today. Vinne will bring the production perspective, sharing what happens when those frameworks meet the realities of making creative work.

Together, they will discuss how brands can create greater consistency and collaboration without introducing so much process that experimentation and creativity grind to a halt.
