Robert is a partner and head of the Tax & Incentives group for the UK. He specialises in advising corporate and personal clients on tax planning and structuring and the tax implications of transactions in many fields. Robert has particular expertise in the fields of venture capital taxation (including the EIS and VCT regimes), real estate and corporate real estate transactions (including SDLT and VAT issues and planning) private equity fund structuring and transactions as well as general M&A. Robert is a solicitor and chartered tax advisor.

Mr. Rodney Dukes serves as a Partner and Head of the Finance and Projects group at Taylor Wessing LLP. Mr. Dukes served as business group director at Taylor Wessing. Mr. Dukes has acted for a number of banks, borrowers and sponsors over the years in a variety of industry sectors.

Paul is a partner in the Real Estate group and is the international head for real estate. Paul acts regularly for international investors, particularly in the private wealth sphere. His core area of expertise includes investment and development.

Since 2009, the UK has enjoyed increasing levels of overseas investment into real estate. Private Investors and Institutions from Asia, Middle East and increasingly the US find UK real estate an attractive investment. Searching for the prospect of material returns on capital and drawing on an accessible financing market, international investors are typically seeking out opportunities across all sectors notably retail, office, hotel and residential, both in London and, increasingly, outside London, as well as opportunities for shorter-term returns through development projects.

Chad is a Partner and Head of Planning at Maples Teesdale LLP, a leading specialist property law firm based in London. He is also a Legal Associate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Chad has extensive experience working in the private and public sectors advising local authorities, developers and housing associations on a wide range of legal issues associated with development. He advises on all types of development, including residential, commercial and mixed use development.

Matt is an Associate Director in the London Office of Turley Associates. He specialises in the central London and London markets and advises a range of funds, landowners, institutions and developer clients. Matt has a particular focus on Westminster, Camden, Islington, City of London, Haringey and Hackney and is also particularly active in the residential and higher education sectors.

Eleonora Pulci is a Director in the Debt and Structured Finance team, part of CBRE’s Real Estate Finance Division.She specialises in the arrangement of senior and mezzanine debt and advises on new financing, as well as restructuring and debt buy-back mandates. She also leads all CBRE’s loan sales assignments across Europe and has an established network of over 100 real estate lenders, as well as buyers of loans, across the EMEA region.Prior to joining CBRE in 2008, Eleonora worked in the London Securitization team at Citigroup.

Mark heads up the Equity Placement Team within CBRE Real Estate Finance (Capital Advisors) and is authorised to conduct regulated corporate finance business under the Financial Services and Markets Act. He advises on both debt and equity structuring for large complex property and corporate transactions. Mark overseas a team of 11 and has been responsible for the completion of numerous capital raising projects, with a combined total value of more than £10bn.

Jon specialises in advising both lenders and borrowers in connection with a variety of financing techniques including syndicated lending, acquisition finance, property finance, mezzanine finance and Shari’a compliant finance. He advises a range of clients from private banks, banks, large corporates, private equity houses and debt platforms as well as property developers and investors. He has particular experience in Real Estate Finance and the Emerging Markets. Jon regularly presents on Banking & Finance at Henry Stewart conferences.
