Eileen Kennedy is a Professor at UCL Knowledge Lab (Institute of Education, University College London), researching digital learning design, largely in contexts of displacement and crisis such as Lebanon and the Thai-Myanmar border. As part of this work, she has been researching innovative approaches to the co-design of digital learning through the CoMOOC model (Co-designed Massive Open Online Collaboration).

Javier Tejera is a Senior Learning Technology & Design Advisor at the Edinburgh Futures Institute (University of Edinburgh) and also works independently as a digital education consultant. On the one hand, he is interested in innovative, cutting-edge digital technologies for teaching and learning. On the other hand, he is fascinated by low-tech, mobile-first settings and the social contexts in which education operates.

Dr. Valerie Irvine is an internationally-recognized Associate Professor of Educational Technology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria (UVic), where she is a member of the Senate and is area advisor for educational technology with courses and programs ranging from first year to PhD. She also serves as the Director of the Technology Integration and Evaluation (TIE) Research Lab. With a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (Instructional Technology) from the University of Alberta and bachelor's degrees in Education and English from the University of British Columbia, Dr.

Dr. Robbie Melton, Provost and VP of Academic Affairs and Technology Innovations at the SMART Global Technology Innovation Center and a tenured professor at Tennessee State University, has been named a 2025 Leading Woman in AI. A global researcher and consultant in AI in education and the Internet of Everything, with expertise in mobile and immersive technologies like VR and AR, she serves on the SREB AI Commission and has presented in over 30 countries, advocating for AI’s role in higher education.

Chuck is a distance learning leader with over 30 years of experience developing and leading undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education distance learning programs. He is an expert in online course design, educational technology, faculty development, and program marketing and management. 

Professor Gilly Salmon is a pioneer in digital education, learning innovation, and transformation. With a distinguished career across universities and public-private partnerships worldwide, she is the creator of the Five-Stage Model, e-Tivities, and Carpe Diem Learning Design, shaping online and blended learning globally. As a keynote speaker, author, consultant, she continues to advance the future of education, integrating pedagogy with emerging technologies.
