Events Event Speaker Richard Brehm

Richard Brehm has a 30-year career in the entertainment industry, working in diverse capacities including marketing executive at Universal Pictures, development executive, screenwriter and most recently as writer and producer of documentaries for film and television.  His documentaries have aired on Netflix, Disney+, NatGeo, NBC, HBO, A&E, History, Syfy and many others.  He has extensive experience working in family entertainment, including as executive producer of the 8-hour series, Creating the World of Harry Potter for Warner Bros. In recent years, he’s worked extensively with James Cameron including as writer and producer of the Avatar documentary, The Story of Water airing on Disney+ in November and the television special, Titanic: 25 Years Later for National Geographic Channel.  He wrote and produced the short film What Would the Ocean Say? with Cameron, which premiered at the UN General Assembly. He is currently working on the Avatar sequels.  His first book for children, YOU BE YOU, was published in 2020 and won the gold prize for best children’s book – all ages from the Independent Publisher Book Awards.  He is currently working on his second book for children, JONAH’S VIOLIN.
