Ralph Thomas is a Senior Archivist with an unusually square head and a penchant for ties. He helped build Light & Wonder's first company-wide DAM and continues his pursuit of asset management perfection.
His career began in traditional design and marketing before he pivoted to become the world's most mediocre game artist. Meanwhile, Light & Wonder, after a few failed attempts, found a small team of people, including Ralph, foolish enough to take on the challenge of building a DAM for a large company that was actually an amalgamation of several game companies with studios around the world.
Along the way, Ralph discovered that building a great DAM isn't enough; you also have to convince people to use it and continually train them how to get the most out of it. That's when his slightly above-average marketing skills kicked in. Since then, he has made it his mission to promote the DAM through creative means and train users in a way that's both fun and painless.
When he's not working, you can find him cycling, reading, drawing, and writing short biographical sketches about himself in the third person as though someone else wrote them.
