Heidi Hudson is the Curator of Photographic Collections at The Royal Kennel Club, where she oversees one of the most significant archives of canine imagery in the world. She holds a Master’s degree in the History of Art with Photography from Birkbeck, University of London, and is recognised as a specialist in both 19th-century and contemporary dog art and photography.
Heidi was instrumental in introducing the Royal Kennel Club’s first Digital Asset Management (DAM) system in 2012 and has since led the organisation’s digital asset management approach, overseeing all imagery, metadata, and archive workflows across the business.
She manages all photographic operations at the world-renowned Crufts dog show—the largest and most prestigious canine event globally. Her work reflects a lifelong passion for history, art, and photography, united by a deep appreciation for the enduring bond between humans and dogs.
