George is Chief Revenue Officer and board member for Overcast HQ Ltd. He is responsible for all go-to-market activities in the company, including marketing, sales operations and product management. He has worked with Overcast HQ for nearly 4 years and has seen Annual Recurring Revenue growth of over 60%. George is also Chair of Snicket Labs, and a consultant specialising in digital media and technology adoption and has extensive business turnaround experience.
Previous to Overcast HQ, George was appointed CEO of private equity-backed, Masstech Innovations Inc, which he successfully exited in 2 years and sold to Telestream and Genstar Capital in March 2021.
During his tenure, Masstech was awarded an Emmy for Technical Innovation.
George’s earlier media technology career Included Technicolor SA with 8 years of business and product
leadership roles in distribution (where he helped launch Netflix and Amazon Prime in Europe) and post-production, before being appointed the Media and Entertainment
Industry Lead for Amazon Web Services for EMEA. He specialised in technology innovation and the
introduction of cloud solutions for media workflows.
He is also currently advising Entertainment Technologists Inc, a US film and media technology and strategy consultancy with multiple media customers including Coreweave, SVG and Skywalker Sound Inc
