Dr Gina Fox is an Associate Professor in Criminology and Deputy Dean of Education for the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at the University of Leicester. She is a University Distinguished Teaching Fellow and holds Principal Fellowships with Advance HE, recognising her sustained leadership in curriculum design, academic practice and pedagogic enhancement.
Her work spans education leadership, professional development, HyFlex learning, and active and problem‑based pedagogies grounded in constructivist and social learning theories. She is known for creating engaging, inclusive learning environments that promote student autonomy, interactivity and real‑world skill development.
Dr Fox leads Leicester’s institutional HyFlex initiative and has contributed widely to sector conversations, including her Advance HE blog ‘Moving Past Pandemic Pedagogy: Unlocking the True Potential of HyFlex Learning’ and presentations on university‑wide pilot findings.
