At the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Craig is immersed in the museum’s mission to experiment with, exhibit, and interpret the museum’s collections using digital media platforms and techniques. He routinely collaborates on enhancements to asset management and access systems to facilitate their involvement in innovative artistic and curatorial practices.
Craig is a software engineer equipped with an MFA from Iowa’s Intermedia program. His past works include Tenants in Action (TIA), an app that facilitates slum-housing reports to LA city agencies; the Mukurtu Archive and Plateau People’s Web Portal, for which he was the first lead developer; Scalar, which he co-created with the Alliance for Networking Visual Culture (ANVC); and Tensor, an iTunes-like app for managing content from cultural archives.
