Courtney Tompkins has more than 15 years of experience helping organizations structure, govern and scale their visual assets. At Host Hotels & Resorts, she serves as the functional owner and primary administrator of the company’s DAM platform, leading governance, metadata strategy, user support, asset workflows and cross-functional adoption. Her work includes guiding a full platform migration, supporting an in-platform upgrade, and developing the documentation, training resources and metadata frameworks needed to make digital assets more discoverable, sustainable and effective across the enterprise.
Courtney’s experience began in museum and research settings, including roles at the National Gallery of Art and the Detroit Institute of Arts, where she managed image sourcing, descriptive cataloging, copyright research and permissions for digital art history and exhibition projects. She is now focused on the next evolution of DAM, exploring how AI-enabled capabilities can support more efficient, scalable and meaningful asset management.
