Alexis is an information professional experienced in archives and digital asset management. As the Collections Information Specialist for the Art Museum at the Huntington, she navigates and manages art object data between the institution’s collections management system and DAMS. Alexis’ focus at the Huntington is to contribute to an increasingly accessible Art Museum collection via digitization and robust DAMS and CMS governance.
Prior to joining the Huntington, Alexis was the Digital Archivist at GUESS, where she developed archival management policies and advocated for the implementation of a corporate-wide DAMS. She has also contributed to the completion of community archives projects at the UCLA Asian American Studies Center by adding descriptive metadata to their digitized archives. Alexis is a proud Bruin, having received both her BA and MLIS from UCLA.
